Cool tones stretch across this canvas inviting one to relax on San Diego's well known Pacific Beach. Painted around 1998, my professional career was in year two. I described myself as a renderer learning to be a painter. Today I would be a little more loose with less detail.
About Paul Strahm
Since 1997, I have been working full time as a fine art professional of oil painting in the plein air genre. Taking my easel and paints to the outdoors, setting up and painting what I see. My style has evolved from a more rendering approach to painting with less detail and more brush stroke. Traveling to other cities, states and countries has "broadened my horizon."
