Artist's Description
This tower is a landmark in San Diego located at the intersection of University and Euclid in the City Heights area. It has an unusual style of architecture called the Zigzag Moderne Art Deco. It currently houses The Tower Bar but has many different businesses over the years. In the foreground is the Egyptian Garage. Quite an interesting corner. Painted on location.

Since 1997, I have been working full time as a fine art professional of oil painting in the plein air genre. Taking my easel and paints to the outdoors, setting up and painting what I see. My style has evolved from a more rendering approach to painting with less detail and more brush stroke. Traveling to other cities, states and countries has "broadened my horizon."
