Manhattan is one of my favorite places for exploration and plein air painting. In between Central Park and the city are these street corners filled with people either waiting for the light to turn green or actually plowing across. It was part of my experience and I had to paint it.

Since 1997, I have been working full time as a fine art professional of oil painting in the plein air genre. Taking my easel and paints to the outdoors, setting up and painting what I see. My style has evolved from a more rendering approach to painting with less detail and more brush stroke. Traveling to other cities, states and countries has "broadened my horizon." Different light, landscapes, architecture and culture bring new excitement to my work. Exhibiting in galleries, museums and art clubs have played a important role in my career.
