This is the main train depot for San Diego, California. It is where the Amtrak, the Pacific Surfliner and the San Diego Trolley systems come in. Nestled among the high rises, it has a beautiful Spanish Architecture that sets it apart from them. Painted en plein air on location.
Since 1997, I have been working full time as a fine art professional of oil painting in the plein air genre. Taking my easel and paints to the outdoors, setting up and painting what I see. My style has evolved from a more rendering approach to painting with less detail and more brush stroke. Traveling to other cities, states and countries has "broadened my horizon."
