Just south of the border of Pacific Beach and Mission Beach, this painting depicts the shore of Sail Bay at Bayside Walk and Rockaway Ct. in San Diego, California. Painted on location, this is a sunny day painting with a clear view of the boardwalk going off into the distance.
About Paul Strahm
Since 1997, I have been working full time as a fine art professional of oil painting in the plein air genre. Taking my easel and paints to the outdoors, setting up and painting what I see. My style has evolved from a more rendering approach to painting with less detail and more brush stroke. Traveling to other cities, states and countries has "broadened my horizon."
