San Diego has a collection of walking street bridges in the Bankers Hill district. The Quince Street Bridge is a local favorite for it's old wood construction and the spectacular canyon it stretches across. The trail that runs below it is as popular as the bridge itself!

About Paul Strahm

Paul Strahm

Since 1997, I have been working full time as a fine art professional of oil painting in the plein air genre. Taking my easel and paints to the outdoors, setting up and painting what I see. My style has evolved from a more rendering approach to painting with less detail and more brush stroke. Traveling to other cities, states and countries has "broadened my horizon." Different light, landscapes, architecture and culture bring new excitement to my work. Exhibiting in galleries, museums and art clubs have played a important role in my career.
